Älplermagronen aelplermagronen, dinner, pasta, potatoes, bacon, and more

Älplermagronen is a traditional swiss dish. They can be cooked in one pot alone, which is more efficient compared to dishes using multiple pots. Furthermore, less needs to be cleaned after cooking. But most important, they just tastes fantastic for dinner.

Ingredients

  • 300 g pasta
  • 200 g waxy potatoes
  • 1 piece apple
  • 120 g bacon
  • 1 piece onions
  • 2 dl cream
  • 6 dl bouillon
  • 60 g grated cheese
  • 30 g fried onions

Instructions

  1. Cut the potatoes and the apple in one centimeter sized cubes.
  2. Cut the bacon in strips.
  3. Cut the onions to rings.
  4. Put all ingredients except the cheese into one big pot, mix and start to cook it.
  5. Cook on medium heat until the pasta is done.
  6. Take the pot away from the stove, add the grated cheese and season it as you like.
  7. Put it on plates and serve it with fired onions as a decoration.
